Ads Suck? WidgetBucks Ads Lagi Suck
WidgetBucks’s motto is Ads suck, ours don’t. I think, WidgetBucks is lagi suck.
Previously, I highlighted that WidgetBucks started to offer CPM ads for international traffic.
According to WidgetBucks, initial CPM rates will be low. My statistics shown that CPM is very very low for international traffic. Furthermore, they don’t pay traffic from Asia, such as Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Egypt, and Romania.
Rates for other countries, such as Taiwan, some parts of the Middle East, some parts of South America and other regions earn under $0.10 CPM.
CPM or Cost-Per-Thousand Impressions is referring to advertising bought on the basis of impression.
In this case, $0.10 CPM / 1000 impressions = $0.0001 per impression
To earn $10 at $0.10 CPM rate, you need 100,000 impression.
Last month, I only managed to get slightly above 10,000 impression combined in various blogs.
Till todate, my earnings and commissions is $25.63, which $25 is from Sign Up bonus.
If I continue using WidgetBucks, when will I reach to the minimum cash out amount of $50?
I don’t know whether to use WidgetBucks or not??

WidgetBucks CPM Ads is Live Now
On 29 Nov, WidgetBucks (WB) announced they are offering CPM ads for international traffic in early December 2007.
This give us the opportunities to earn few dollars, per impression, for traffic that comes from countries outside U.S. and Canada.
As I mentioned in previous post, my click-rate in WB is very low, thus the revenue per click is not even enough to buy a cup of morning coffee. 
However, with the launch of WB’s CPM today, I hope the earning from WB could improve.
Take a look at the screenshot below, some of my widgets are getting quite good impression but low click rate for the month of December.
In order to start earning this international CPM ads revenue, we need to replace existing code with new WidgetBucks ad code on the websites.
On the WB main site, I also notice that they have partnered with a few shopping giants to offer thousands of CPM ads for the benefits of the bloggers.
Those partners, includes eBay, Wal Mart, Shopping.com, Amazon, Best Buy and many others.
I hope WidgetBucks can pay good CPM rate for the impression I’m getting.

New Blog Theme and More Money Making Opportunitie$
I learn from Ah Pek that one factor to avoid losing interest in our blog is to change the theme.
Today, I just put in a new WordPress theme for this blog, and spent some times to modify the CSS file as well as to test some new plug-ins.
The new look is built on white background, which is easy for our eyes. The new design is simple and easily navigable.

In the same day, I read the official blog of WidgetBucks (WB) that, they are going to offering CPM ads for international traffic in early this month. This is a piece of good news for many of us in Asia, because in mid November, WB no longer paying clicks coming from outside the U.S. and Canada.
The new feature will give us some revenue per impression, for our visitors who come from other countries. WB are working with advertisers covering 100 countries to offers thousands of creative ads for the benefits of the bloggers.
The WB system will detect the geo-location to determine where the visitor is coming from. Then WB’s widgets either show the regular pay-per-click ads for visitors from the U.S. and Canada or show an ad that pays per impression to visitors from other countries.
So far, my earnings using WB is very poor, a part of the $25 signup bonus, I only made $0.31 in October. I will wait to see if the new CPM will help me to earn a bit more or not.
