eNets Virtual Account Service Closed Down

Just got email from NETS, the electronic payments network in Singapore, that they’re closing the eNETS Virtual Account service.

The reason given is more consumers are using credit cards and debit cards to make online payments.

eNETS Virtual Account was launched in 2001, as a micro-payment solution for both the Internet and mobile arenas.

I registered the eNETS Virtual Account since it was launched 7 years ago, but as far as I remember, used only once to pay bill.

I noticed that more online merchants also accepting Internet banking fund transfer, PayPal and other payment mode to consumers now.

As new technologies are introduced, we have many ways to make bill payment and do online shopping, such as credit/debit card, vPost, Visa Bill Pay, PayPal, even we can use Cash Card and EZ-link card at home with the card reader.

For the most expertise training in the technological world today, a mcse certification will give you recognition of the world of Microsoft. Through microsoft training, professionals can develop all different types of solutions. For the network professional, cisco training will help you to specialize in implementing and managing networks. The ccnp certification will broaden your career path to be able to professionally work with WAN and LAN networks. The ccna certification is for installing configure and operating routers and networks. Managers who are interested in higher education, itil training should be a must.

I don’t see any benefits using eNETS Virtual Account, as I need to top up money in the Virtual Account first, before doing online shopping or bill payment.

Making Money$ Online, Loyalty is Backed By Money

While reading some blogs about two local Internet Ads companies on their customer services, no ads, exclusive club and so on, I received email from LinkWorth that payout has been made to my PayPal account.

LinkWorth paid me USD$41.06 for the one and half month of displaying rotating ad links. Another US$28 is pending for payment next month. No bad for a small technology site that I run (not this blog).

LinkWorth

No point of complaining this and that.

I don’t want to waste too much time to complain, just spend more time to improve the ranking and site popularity.

If company X don’t give me ads, I just look at company Y. There are hundred online advertising companies out there.

Use Google to search.

If this one doesn’t work, jump next.

I hear someone talk about loyalty. I can tell you that, there is no loyalty toward Internet advertising industry.

I’m loyalty to the money, not company.

Ads Suck? WidgetBucks Ads Lagi Suck

WidgetBucks’s motto is Ads suck, ours don’t. I think, WidgetBucks is lagi suck.

Previously, I highlighted that WidgetBucks started to offer CPM ads for international traffic.

According to WidgetBucks, initial CPM rates will be low. My statistics shown that CPM is very very low for international traffic. Furthermore, they don’t pay traffic from Asia, such as Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Egypt, and Romania.

Rates for other countries, such as Taiwan, some parts of the Middle East, some parts of South America and other regions earn under $0.10 CPM.

CPM or Cost-Per-Thousand Impressions is referring to advertising bought on the basis of impression.

In this case, $0.10 CPM / 1000 impressions = $0.0001 per impression

To earn $10 at $0.10 CPM rate, you need 100,000 impression.

Last month, I only managed to get slightly above 10,000 impression combined in various blogs.

WidgetBucks Suck

Till todate, my earnings and commissions is $25.63, which $25 is from Sign Up bonus.

WidgetBucks Suck

If I continue using WidgetBucks, when will I reach to the minimum cash out amount of $50?

I don’t know whether to use WidgetBucks or not??

Highly Skill Construction Workers In Demand

When I move in to current place in Jan 2007, the developer CapitalLand started to clear the land for building The Metropolitan @ Redhill opposite my HDB block, just beside Red Hill MRT.

Condo Constructions

12 month later, the work on the condominium, is more than 50% complete. As I uploading the pictures on Sunday, construction workers are still very busy to rush the project. The crane towers are lifting heavy materials up and down.

Condo Constructions

According to news, the construction industry is continue rising due to strong demand in residential and commercial properties, two Integrated Resorts and the Business and Financial Centre. Hence, the building boom has created a severe shortage of highly-skilled construction workers.

Currently, there is high competition for construction workers worldwide, it is very important develop new talent by providing employment training so that they could earn better skills and experience for the new project in future.

Good on the job training and qualification can help to improve the quality of the project. A quality built environment can also helped the developers distinguish itself from other competitors, and able to establish a strong brand name.

Dump Advertlets and I love You, NuffNang?

I believe, many bloggers have received email from NuffNang about their exclusive program, namely Nuffnang Gliterrati.

I don’t want to repeat the details here, you can read, here, here, here, here, here and the official page.

To me, this is like, once you accepted NuffNang’s marriage proposal, you cannot stick with other guys or girls anymore. :)

If NuffNang’s private investigator crawlers found out that you dating with others guys/girls, NuffNang will divorce remove you from the club.

As of 21:00, the result of the poll: Will You Use Advertlets Again?, shows that 58% won’t return to Advertlets.

Will You Use Advertlets

For those bloggers who voted NO, will you say: I DO to NuffNang’s proposal?
