Ayam Penyet Lunch
This afternoon, was having Ayam Penyet lunch with together with colleagues at House of Ayam Penyet. This House of Ayam Penyet is located at the basement of NTUC Income Beach Junction.
All of us ordered Jumbo Set which come with a piece of Ayam Penyet, 2 chicken wings, white rice and green tea soft drink. Price $10
The ayam penyet is best served with super hot chilli paste. On the side is fried tofu, fried bean curd (tempe) and some veggie.

Apologize for the bad quality photo. Taken using my LG Viewty KU990.
The rice portion is quite small, is like half a rice bowl.

We also ordered side dish Gado-Gado. $4.80
This was my first time been to this House of Ayam Penyet. I find that, the price is higher than Ayam Penyet stall at Marina Square Food Court.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib
Be amazed with the superior service provided by the staff. Lawry’s signature dish, Roasted Prime Ribs of Beef, is craved and served specially from Lawry’s silver carts. These carts are wheeled to diner’s tables, giving them the opportunity to choose their preferred cuts, from rare to as well done as they’d like. Absolute freedom. Waiters’ uniforms are designed such that diners feel like they are in a ritzy club.

Yeah .. It’s time to eat durian
It is durian season again. The Sunday Times reported that good weather has yielded bumper supplies of durian, especially the good quality ones, like D24, Mao Shah Wang, Red Prawn, and other varieties as well.
I remember, the last time i makan durians was years ago when visiting at KL.

Anyone interested to go durian plantation at Johor to enjoy Eat All You Can Durian Buffet?

Pho Hoa Vietnamese Restaurant @ Suntec
Yesterday, had lunch with a few friend at the Pho Hoa Vietnamese Restaurant @ Suntec City.
The restaurant is located in the corner of newly created area, PlayGround at the level three. Not easy to find if not for the direction.
This is my first time to try Vietnamese food.
First, we tried the Vietnamese spring roll (Cha Gio), the spring roll skin is pan fried till crispy, with assorted vegetables inside. It served with sweet and sour sauce. Not very oily.

Zhen Zhen Porridge
What I hate the most from this stall is Queue.
Zhen Zhen Porridge is located at the famous at Maxwell Road Food Centre. There are many types of porridge (for example fish, chicken meat) and the servings portion are quite generous, you can put lots of spring onion, ginger slices, chili as topping for your porridge. And the best part is very cheap.
For this bowl of fish porridge is only SG$2.50.
Is worth the wait or not? Up to individual lah.
