Nokia The Rookie
I like to watch the America reality show, The Apprentice.
Now, I’ve the opportunities to watch the Singapore version, Nokia The Rookie.
Nokia is organizing the reality show, which contestants are fighting for an internship at 4 high-profile companies. These companies are: Nokia (off-course lah, the main sponsor), Microsoft (most people favourite technology company), Standard Chartered Bank and the Zouk (most people favourite night-spot).
Beside to win the internship at Nokia, Microsoft, Standard Chartered, and Zouk, each of the contestants will get one Nokia E72 mobile phone, and special prize for each round of the contest. The Final winner will crowned the Rookie and cash of S$5,000.
As for this week, 6 contestants are already getting “Fired” from the contest. Now, 3 female and 3 male left standing in the contest. What do you think of who would be the last 4 standing?
Let me guess who will be the true Rookie.
My take is: Jeanette Koh

Jeanette is friendly, hardworking and self-motivated person. I believe in her organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate with others stand her in good chance to win The Rookie.
What do think then?
Catch the latest Nokia The Rookie show here.

Do telcos truly care for customers?
Someone in the HWZ forum asked: Do telcos truly care for customers?
No!
All telcos in Singapore are public listed company. They don’t need to answer to the customers.
But the management of telcos need to answer to the shareholders.
That’s why, I insist on invest in telcos shares.

Google Adwords $75 Voucher
Received a Google Adwords voucher worth $75 from Google last week. I must activate a new AdWords account before 7 May. Otherwise, the voucher will drop in value to $50.
What is the best way to apply the $75 free advertising from Google?

pHing
Since July 08, local classifieds backed by Hardwarezone, has been re-design and relaunch entirely to provide better selling and buying experience.
I like the easy and simple method for posting new ads. pHing have a nice clean user interface. New seller want to post ads are required to register and verify mobile number is a good feature to prevent fraudsters.

I would like to suggest the followings to pHing team:
1) Increase Posting Quota
Currently, we can post up to 10 ads within 24 hours.
This limits is too low.
I think, 24 posts within 24 hours is more reasonable.
2) Feedback System
Just like eBay, we can leave feedback to sellers or buyers after transaction is done.
This is good way to build up reputation and trust to help shoppers to make better decisions.
Welcome to visiting my pHing store.
Lastly, Thank You pHing to provide a selling & buying platform.
