Google maps are terribly outdated
Look at the maps capture from 2 map providers, Google Map and StreetDirectory.com, at the same location.
They look very different.

Map captured from Google Map

This area has changed so much since 4-5 years ago.
If you’re depending on Google Map to search for building, for sure you’ll get lost.
Wondering when Google will update their map?

Comex Show 2009

Again, the quarterly IT “pasar malam” has started yesterday to this Sunday, at Suntec Convention Hall.
I bought an Acer notebook from previous PC Show in June 2009.
This time round, I’m only targeting small accessories.
2.5″ 500Gb external hard disk
So far, the cheapest is Western Digital Elements $115.90, with 5 years warranty.
wireless mouse
Currently, I’m using Prolink PML501 2.4Ghz wireless mouse. If the price is right, maybe will get another one.
notebook lock
hard disk docking station (maybe)
I’ve a few 3.5″ 40GB ~ 60GB hard disks at home. This is the most easy way to re-use those hard disk without need to open up USB casing and swapping the disk.
If you interested to buy some stuff, I suggest you to browse Comex 2009 Price Lists & Brochures before heading down to Suntec City. Thanks to VR Zone and Hardware Zone volunteers.

Upgrade Your WordPress Immediately
WordPress is no 1 self-host blogging platform now, as there are millions of blogs & websites running on WordPress.
Recently, some reports that there is an “attack” on older versions of WordPress right now. According to a study revealed that 98% of WordPress blogs being run were exploitable because they were running outdated and unsupported versions of the WordPress. (source Wiki).
I believe millions WordPress users not aware of this vulnerability, especially those “hardly update” one (like me).
The latest version of WordPress is 2.8.4. If you’re still using older version, upgrade your WordPress immediately.
