Fedora 10 Win

January 17, 2009 · Posted in Linux

After one week are experiencing Fedora 10 and Ubuntu 8, I decided to replace Vista with Fedora 10.

Fedora 10

Not than Ubuntu is not good, but simply because I’m more familiar in Redhat/Fedora way of works.

I started learn Linux from Redhat 3 and then SuSe Linux 6 many years ago.
Also, I’m better in rpm and yum commands than deb and apt-get.

Furthermore, Fedora 10 recognise all hardware in my PC, including Lexmark printer, Linksys USB wireless adapter, Samsung HSDPA/3.5G mobile broadband modem, etc.

Next step is to re-learn open source applications (Open Office, GIMP) and make Windows-based software run on Wine.
