Yesterday, had lunch with a few friend at the Pho Hoa Vietnamese Restaurant @ Suntec City.
The restaurant is located in the corner of newly created area, PlayGround at the level three. Not easy to find if not for the direction.
This is my first time to try Vietnamese food.
First, we tried the Vietnamese spring roll (Cha Gio), the spring roll skin is pan fried till crispy, with assorted vegetables inside. It served with sweet and sour sauce. Not very oily.
I ordered a bowl of Carrot Beef Stew. You can ask to go with bread or noodles, but I think beef stew is best served with rice. There is reasonable amount of beef chunks and carrot. I love the rich gravy.
SW ordered the Beef Brisket Noodles. According to her, the soup taste is quite nice and portion is just nice for lunch.
Jeffrey and Ms C preferred Hot and Sour Seafood Noodle. I don’t remember what’s their comments on this noodle.
Overall, the price is reasonable. 5 items and 2 soya bean drink, plus taxes (10% and 7%), total bill is $53.
